Location next to restaurant for evening meal as well as the city centre. The breakfasts even for a vegetarian. True 3-star experience, EXCEPTIONAL service.

Can't recommend highly enough for a short stint

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, with generous coffee and tea options, made my stay pleasant and convenient just a short drive from the nearest airport.

Anice and neat stay with a warm atmosphere, with a good bar with friendly locals. The full English breakfast was a highlight. The hosts provided great tips for local walks and ensured a pleasant experience overall.

The room was small but impeccably clean and warm, though a shared bathroom might be challenging when fully occupied. Located about a 30-minute walk from the city center, the area appears a bit grittier at night, which may deter nighttime exploration.

Good value for 65 quid, the breakfast was excellent, generous portions, well cooked! I really appreciated the warm welcome. It seemed like a local pub where everyone knows each other.

The twin room I booked was quitesuper clean and cozy, with ample space for our things. I loved that parking was available right outside. The location, while a bit out of the main town, allowed for a quiet evening. Walking into the city took about 30 minutes, but the scenic route across the countryside was good. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. It was hearty and delicious. Staff interactions were also positive, thoughtful and ready to assist. The room could benefit from some modernization as the decor felt a bit outdated. The shared bathroom situation was occasionally inconvenient, especially during busy morning hours. There was also a slight issue with some noise from outside, which could disrupt a peaceful night's rest. A few maintenance details needed attention too, like some flickering lights.

I had the best time sipping coffee in my cozy room after a delicious breakfast! The breakfast was nothing short of excellent-think hearty, homemade cooked options that warmed my soul. Plus, the local pub vibe, a gem!

Rooms were small and felt outdated, lacking inviting decor and adequate workspace. Noise from the busy main road could be significant, especially at night, disrupting a peaceful sleep. Limited dining options in the immediate area also posed a challenge. Takeout was the only choice, which isn't ideal after a long day. Breakfast was available, but the absence of evening meals was a letdown. Arrangements could be improved with better bathroom facilities, as shared bathrooms offered less privacy than preferred, and inconsistent local bus service left a lot to be desired if you wanted to explore the city.

Gilesgate moor is amazing location near a tesco extra and a 24-hour mcdonald's. My single room was tidy and equipped well, and the shared bathroom was very clean. A standout was the breakfast. It was the best english breakfast experience I've had. The host was kind and helpful .

An Lovely Stay with Great Local Vibes!

We spent two nights here and felt right at home. The locals at the pub bar made our evenings enjoyable and the substantial breakfast set us up for the day. Don't miss the separate shower and toilet-both were immaculate!
